October and November proved to be a whirlwind, leaving me with little time to dedicate to my blog. Too much happened over the last couple of months so I’m going to throw it all into a single summary post…
1. Attended TBEX in Cancun, Mexico for work.
2. Attended the Epcot Food & Wine Festival at Disney World. I think I drank more than I ate…
3. Carved my first ever pumpkin for Halloween. Turns out I’m pretty awesome at it, too!
4. Continued on being super American by going tailgating at UCF for the second time in my life! Drinking
for a football game or college tradition I have no understanding for, sure.
5. Went dressed to work as the Crazy Cat Lady from The Simpsons for Halloween. Won
‘Best Individual Costume’ and ‘Best Pumpkin Carving’. Badass.
6. Took the BAEs to visit my old stomping grounds, Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney,
to watch La Nouba. Oh how I miss interning there on the Disney International College Program.
Still the best year of my life! ♥
7. Went on an entire-company cruise for work to the Bahamas. Discovered that an unlimited drink
package onboard the ship is definitely the way of life. Frozen mojitos for breakfast, anyone?
8. Went to The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If you’ve
never seen the Christmas lights display here, it is definitely something you must do!
9. Did Magic Kingdom just to see the most beautiful thing ever – a frosted Cinderella’s Castle
at Christmas time. Breathtaking ♥
10. Spent last weekend in a very cold Secaucus, New Jersey for a work conference. Took some time to
wander around Hoboken, too.
11. Set my Christmas Tree up!!!
What’s Next?
I’m flying home next weekend!!!! EEEEE! I haven’t been home in almost two years, and I haven’t
spent at Christmas at home in Australia for four years!!! So excited.
Not only that, but mum and I have a girls trip booked in to Bali for five nights in early December and
then I’m off to Sydney for New Years Eve. So much to look forward to!
2015 Travels?
Travel plans in the works – just booked a trip to Italy and Malta for summer of 2015. My parents
are going on a big Eurotrip, so I’ll be meeting up with them for part of that. Both sides of my family
are from Malta, and I’ve never been before, so I’m extremely excited to get there and explore. While
I’ve been all over Italy, I’m looking forward to re-visiting Rome.
Hoping to add Morocco and perhaps Peru to the line up for next year too!

WOW. You’ve had an amazing past few months and upcoming sounds unbelievable too! That’s awesome you’re flying home next week. 🙂
I can’t wait for home, and for some warm weather! Do you have any exciting plans for Christmas break?
Hopefully we can add camping to 2015, too!
